🐴 Ava is Available for Adoption 🐴
Ava, a 2023 Thoroughbred mare, came to us as an owner surrender with a previous back pastern injury. X-rays from August 2025 showed some mild arthritis, but no lameness was present. Ava stands a little over 15 hands tall.
Ava received professional training in April-May 2026 and is now green broke. She has been ridden in an arena and on trails. While she won’t be suited for a high-impact sports career, she’s perfect for trail rides or light dressage-style work. 💕

🚜 Arena Construction Update! 🐴
We're making great progress! After Jason came out to help lay stone, we were about 1/3 of the way finished with the fabric and 2A stone. 💪
A huge thank you to Jason, along with Pam and Wendy, for lending a hand to Tammy and Jody as they continue preparing the arena.
The herd is on the move, and Dove and Stanley are checking in for some close-ups! 🐴💙

💙 The Cost of Care 💙
Today we're sharing the invoice from Thor's castration to show what this very necessary procedure costs. Gelding helps prevent unwanted breeding, can improve behavior, and gives horses a better chance at finding a forever home. 🐴
We were incredibly grateful to receive a $150 grant from One Horse at a Time and about $75 in donations toward Thor's gelding, but as you can see, it covered only a portion of the $681 total cost.

🚜 Arena Construction Update! 🐴
We laid down the fabric and started placing the first layer of stone! 🎉
For this first phase of the project, Tammy and Jody had some help from the Juvenile Probation of Clarion County. With their help, we made some good progress, and we truly appreciate their support! 💙👏
Jody had some help from the herd, whether he needed it or not! 😂🐴
The horses are always happy to supervise and make sure everything is done correctly. 💙

🐴 Available for adoption-Willow 🐴
Willow is a 2024 Murderers Creek Mustang mare who arrived at our rescue from Double Devil Wild Horse Corrals in July 2025.
She is lightly started in halter and is sweet, curious, and eager to learn. Willow continues to gain confidence each day and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a gentle, affectionate Mustang. 💕
Please note that Willow will require an approved Devil’s Garden adoption application, which is separate from our rescue’s standard adoption application. Interested adopters should contact us for this application.
