We hope to see you all at the Brighton Farmers' Market tomorrow morning!
The highlight this week is the Strawberries! Over 700 baskets will be loaded on the truck early tomorrow morning. We'll also have lots of lettuce, spinach and other salad greens along with a full selection of transplants for your garden (herbs, veggies & flowers).
Strawberry season is upon us!! It has been a few years since we have been able to offer them. They will be available this week for all CSA distributions and you can find them at the market.
We're back!!! Another CSA season at

Transplanting onions today & absolutely thrilled to have our transplanting tractor back together and back at work!
This transplanting is long overdue in large part due to poor weather and the rain that just kept coming. The plants are a bit stressed & unhappy but I'm not too concerned. Onions are like people, they have layers & with proper care & feeding even the most stressed & unhappy little ones can grow to be big, strong, beautiful, and thriving!

We're well outside of shop season on the farm but a broken axle isn't really a project that can wait until the Winter to fix & after using our backup transplant tractor yesterday I'm very motivated to get this fixed so we won't have to ever do that again.
So far, so good. Hopefully it'll be fully welded today, back in the machine shop tomorrow to turn it back to spec, and with any luck we'll have it back in the tractor and have the project wrapped up this weekend!
You can stop by the farm Tuesdays thru Saturdays and purchase transplants! Sundays we will have a selection at the market as well!
The plants on the farm are self serve and we can accept cash and Venmo!

If you're out in the world today and just not having a great day know that you're not alone.
We're having a pretty rough go of things this morning.
Snapped an axle on the mudder in the muddiest section of the field. It's going to be a project just to get it back to solid ground on three wheels and once we get it there it'll be a whole other project to tear it down and figure out the most reasonable repair strategy.
Hopefully you all are having a better day!
