Austin Middle School Students Are Ready for a Summer of Reading!

PSJA Library Services is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Texas Library Association Summer at the Library Grant, funded by H-E-B!

Through our Read to Infinity and Beyond summer reading initiative, more than 290 middle school students will receive books to keep and enjoy all summer long. By providing students with access to books that match their interests, we're helping keep the joy of reading alive beyond the school year.

Students at Austin Middle School recently selected their own books, received reading bags, and spent time in the library personalizing them with their favorite patches. Their excitement for reading was on full display!

Throughout the summer, students will participate in Beanstack reading challenges, with top readers being recognized at the PSJA Summer Reads Ceremony in September.

A special thank you to the Texas Library Association and H-E-B for helping our students continue their reading journey and inspiring them to read to infinity and beyond!

Students at Jesus "Jesse" Vela, Jr. Middle School have officially launched their summer reading mission!

Through PSJA Library Services' Read to Infinity and Beyond initiative, students selected books that match their interests, received reading bags, and added their favorite patches before setting off on a summer full of reading adventures.

Thanks to the Texas Library Association Summer at the Library Grant, funded by H-E-B, students will have access to books they can keep and opportunities to participate in exciting Beanstack reading challenges.

The journey starts with a book and leads to infinite possibilities.

Opening Doors Through Reading at Liberty Middle School

PSJA Library Services believes every student deserves access to books, and thanks to the Texas Library Association Summer at the Library Grant, funded by H-E-B, we're making that vision a reality.

Students at Liberty Middle School recently selected books based on their interests, received reading bags, and personalized them with patches as they prepared for a summer of reading and discovery.

Through the Read to Infinity and Beyond initiative, students will continue building literacy skills, exploring new ideas, and participating in Beanstack reading challenges throughout the summer.

At Raul Yzaguirre Middle School, students are heading into summer with books in hand and excitement for the adventures ahead.

Through the Read to Infinity and Beyond initiative, more than 290 PSJA middle school students will receive books to keep and read throughout the summer, helping maintain literacy skills and foster a love of reading beyond the classroom.

A Summer Full of Stories Starts at Escalante Middle School!

Students at Escalante Middle School are ready to embark on a summer reading adventure!

Thanks to the Texas Library Association Summer at the Library Grant, funded by H-E-B, PSJA Library Services is providing more than 290 middle school students with books they can keep and enjoy throughout the summer as part of our Read to Infinity and Beyond initiative.

Students selected books that matched their interests, received reading bags, and spent time in the library decorating their bags with fun patches before heading off on their summer reading journey.

By removing barriers to book access, we're helping students stay connected to reading all summer long through Beanstack challenges and exciting literacy opportunities.

Audie Murphy Middle School Students Are Ready to Read to Infinity and Beyond!

The library was filled with excitement as students at Audie Murphy Middle School selected books they can keep and enjoy all summer long through PSJA Library Services' Read to Infinity and Beyond initiative.

Thanks to the Texas Library Association Summer at the Library Grant, funded by H-E-B, students explored a variety of titles, chose books that matched their interests, received a special reading bag, and personalized it with their favorite patches.

This initiative helps ensure students have access to books beyond the school year and encourages them to continue building strong reading habits throughout the summer. Students will also participate in Beanstack reading challenges, with top readers being recognized at the PSJA Summer Reads Ceremony in September!

Reading to Infinity and Beyond at Kennedy Middle School!

PSJA Library Services is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the Texas Library Association Summer at the Library Grant, funded by H-E-B!

Through our Read to Infinity and Beyond summer reading initiative, more than 290 middle school students across PSJA will receive books to keep and enjoy throughout the summer. This program helps combat the summer reading slide by putting books directly into the hands of students and encouraging them to continue reading beyond the classroom.

Students at Kennedy Middle School recently had the opportunity to select books that matched their interests, receive a special book bag, and personalize it with their favorite patches during a fun library experience.

Throughout the summer, students will participate in Beanstack Reading Challenges, and top readers will be recognized at the PSJA Summer Reads Ceremony in September!

Students at LBJ recently had the opportunity to select their books, receive a special reading bag, and personalize it with their favorite patches during a fun library experience.

This grant helps remove barriers to book access and ensures that our students can continue their reading journey long after the school year ends.

Congratulations to the Top 100 readers at Southwest High School!

We are excited to celebrate these students for their participation in Beanstack and for logging the most reading minutes on campus this school year. To recognize their achievement, the Library Services Department treated the Top 100 students to a refreshing and fun Kona Ice raspas celebration

A huge thank you to Principal Sylvia Lizcano, Librarian Laura Quiroz, and the entire campus staff for supporting literacy initiatives and encouraging students to build strong reading habits through Beanstack. Your support continues to inspire student success through reading!
