Are you archiving your data? Your photos? Your family documents? Your stories? Your history?

You should start while you still can. Black history is being erased and artifacts vulnerable to disappearing. Save what you can now for the future.

A great time was had at the 1st Annual Literary Costume Ball at the Pflugerville Public Library! Got to dress up with my fellow fantasy author pal and even got to be on the judges panel for the costume contests! Sold some books, met lots of awesome folks. A great time had by all!

I believe in a vast, elaborate spectrum of published books. The evolution of communication and writing continues to fascinate us. Self-publishing has always been a part of free thought and expression and I have always admired, respected, and purchased amazing works created by indie authors.

Trends and tropes in fiction (more specifically Romance fiction) are usually set by a successful host of indie authors. They are the trendsetters. They are business owners. As an indie author myself, much love to the (Romance) indie author community!

As you do your BBQs, cookouts, or just laying down reading, remember that labor rights are not given... they are fought for.

From the 5-day work week, FMLA, PTO and sick leave, those before us took harassment, union busting and other challenges to get these rights.

I actively support collective bargaining, fair wages and employment equity by electing those who also actively support labor rights.
I'm a union baby. Both parents, so I know how our rights are constantly under attack. The fight never stops.

How are you showing up for your fellow proletariats?

Book censorship is not my ministry. I believe in the right to intellectual freedom and that books are the foundation of how our society learns and discerns.
Support your local libraries and show up for them. So many are fighting for our freedom to learn

I'm tired of the same ol' boring, overused hero/heroine characterizations, with the same ol' white straight tropes and no diversity of characters, creatures, and World-building.

Yawn.

Give me a skilled author who is deconstructing and ready to deliver New Age Romance Fantasy where there's something for everyone and doesn't cosplay oppression of real life folks to create a "fantasy"

Who's on your TBR?

No one has time for that! Leave that internalized mess in the 90's. I like my Q***r stories unapologetically rainbow and normalized. Holla if y'all hear me! Thanks!

I'm still here. Still creating. Still healing.

I like my Romance books loaded with dynamic and memorable characters who don't get wrapped in the dreaded 'relationship drama.' This isn't "Days of our Lives'! Give me real conflict, not that 'purple stuff'

Save the drama for your Mama!

About Me

I’ve embraced my oddities and weirdness long ago, finding it freeing to be my authentic self and write stories that captured my feelings of the external world and our influence in it. My worlds only dip their toes in this reality, like a first-time swimmer at a 2-star hotel pool. But in the end, what’s in this head is wayyy weirder than that shady pool, which is why I guess readers come along for the ride.

You’ll always find explosions, ass-kicking, dark moments, real-world parallels, sizzling romance and hopeful endings in my stories. Even the prequels (which usually don’t have romance) still load you up with tons of feels because that’s how I roll.

I have been enamored with all things that go "bump in the night" for who knows how long. Finding humanity and beauty in some of the most seemingly unconventional places is part of the romantic psyche to me. I enjoy reading other fantasy novels and writing in my spare time. I have a lot of projects on my plate and want to create interesting characters for readers.

There's something intriguing about strong women finding love in all the "wrong" places in the world of fantasy. Of angels, demons, ghosts, wolves and your occasional blood sucker, all these paranormal metaphors are catalysts of what humans are and crave most...that we're all different, beautiful and a little bit weird--and just want someone to love us for what we are.
