A little decoration helps - made this little planter from an empty candle to go with the dresser.

This is the only dresser that I have ever found to fit in my bedroom space . Came from Target like over 20 years ago and ya know it’s one that you have to put together. Oh well so if it doesn’t work for you what do you do but paint it. Also wanted a more modern look to it . Came out a twinge more grey then I first wanted . Probably did a no no and put a clear wax down first then an antique glaze to tone it down hopefully it all works out ok. I’m actually thrilled with the color now!

I recently painted a veneer dresser - I put primer on it first then painted with diy chalk paint that I mixed myself. After that I used wax but the color was to stark a gray and I wanted some brown tones to it. So I put on Rustoleum aged glaze on top of the wax .I'm thinking I did things backwards but I really did not want my chalk paint to absorb that dark of a glaze . Anyway how many coats of glaze should I put on and then should I put another coat of wax on that or leave it alone ?
