Scratching Post Cat Rescue

A large black intact male cat was hit and killed just east of East End ice cream stand this morning.
I picked him up and brought him back to the rescue. He was definitely in good shape and well fed. If you’re missing a black cat and want him just stop by the rescue.

Sadie was off today to her new home in a high rise in Chicago. She came in to meet her new parents from her foster home where she has been with her kittens for several months. Her foster mom cried happy tears.

We’re doing some housecleaning today and have set some items out in the parking lot that are free if you can use them. 104 S Miami St. Peru.

Two lucky girls, Bubbles and Lilith, went to their new home together. Two is always better than one and we love it. 💕💕

FEMALE SPOTS ARE FULL NEED 5 MALE CATS. CAN BE IN LIVE TRAP OR CARRIER, TAME OR FERAL DOESN’T MATTER.

We have 5 spots available on May21st for spay/neuter. This will be an “outdoor” package and will include a rabies vaccine and mandatory ear tip. The cost is $50.00, the cats must be at the rescue by 6:30 am the morning of and picked up at 4:30pm that evening. If you are needing a spot please use the message board to let us know and we will reach out to make confirmation. There is a $25 deposit at time of confirmation and the remaining $25 due the day after of procedure.
