Yes, property has taken a big hit in the last few years, but lawsuits seem to get crazier and crazier.

Take this article for example.

Geico is getting sued for an STD…
And they have to spend money on court costs, attorney fees, research costs, etc just to possibly not pay out on this claim.

And we are seeing more and more lawsuits like this.

I just had a policy renew that included an STD exclusion.

Companies have to pay lawyers and more research costs to write these new forms, mail out the forms, and inform each client.

While this seems far-fetched, we see some wild claims. And they all have to be defended.
