Peru Tiger Track and Field

Lafayette Jeff will be hosting this evening’s regional competition. Oliver will compete in long jump, with Brantlee in the shot out and discus. Competition will be begin at 6 pm. We hope to see some familiar faces as these young men attempt to lengthen their season another week for the State meet! Best of luck men!!! Go Tigers!

2 Tigers qualified for regionals last night out of the Kokomo sectional. Brantlee Edwards took 3rd in disc (141’ 1” - PR) and shot put (49’ 2.5”). Oliver Rabe took 2nd in long jump (21’ 2.5” -PR). Both will compete next Thursday at Lafayette Jeff!

Tomorrow night is Senior Night for or Tigers. We will recognize the seniors directly following the meet with Northwestern. Please come out and support all our Tigers but especially Lucy, Sydney, Damion, Johuan and Brantlee as they finish their Tiger careers at home for the very last time! The meet starts at 5!!

Our track lines have been painted and we are ready to host meets again! It’s been a long process but we have our first home contest in 3 years on Thursday, April 17th against conference foe Wabash! Come support these kids and enjoy our new stadium, track, and updated concession stand (still in progress). We’re building facilities for our kids and community to be proud of!

The Wabash meet has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 17th at 5pm. This will be our first home meet in 3 years so please consider coming out and supporting our Tigers!

Tomorrow’s meet with Wabash has been postponed. We are working on a later date to run this meet and I will share the details when this happens. Thanks for your continued support of our program!!

The Tiger Tracksters were hard at work today at Purdue! We had some nice performances and it was a fun group to spend the day with! Look for these Tigers as we will turn some heads this season!
