A church that can worship together ought to be able to laugh together too.

We had a great time at skate night—lots of smiles, lots of fellowship, lots of adults trying to remember they’re not 16 anymore, and lots of reminders that gravity is still undefeated. Somehow everyone made it home (almost) in one piece!

Nights like these are a good reminder that Christian fellowship is one of God’s good gifts. The Christian life is more than Sunday morning; it’s sharing life together, encouraging one another, and enjoying the blessings God has given us.

Thanks to everyone who joined us! We’re already looking forward to the next one. 🛼

Last Sunday at Covenant Baptist Church, we celebrated our graduates and all they have accomplished! To our graduates: We are so proud of you and thankful to have watched you grow through this season of life.

As you step into this next chapter, our prayer for you is that you will know God’s Word and stand firmly on the truth of His Word. The world will offer comfort while quietly draining your strength, but don’t drift—keep your eyes on Christ. Choose conviction over convenience, choose responsibility over being passive, and choose Christ over the approval of those around you.

Congratulations, graduates! Your church family loves you, supports you, and is praying for God to guide your steps and bless the journey ahead. 🎓

This week we had the opportunity to serve the teachers and staff at Perry High School, Perry, Georgia during Teacher Appreciation Week.

At CBC, we believe faithfulness matters. We believe showing up day after day, doing hard things well, and serving others quietly is honorable work before God. Teachers do that every single week.

In a world that feels increasingly chaotic, teachers carry a weight most people never see. Long hours, difficult situations, constant demands, and yet they continue investing in students and serving families in our community.

We just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you for loving students, serving families, and continuing to do the work even on the hard days. We are grateful for you, and we are thankful the Lord has placed people like you in our city.

Praise God for the churches God is planting around the state. For Matt Caporale, the call to plant a church began in 2020. The Lord opened doors, and last spring, Covenant Baptist Church launched in Perry.
