Today in Life Kids we learned:
The jungle is filled with dangerous creatures. Ananias and Sapphira
learned the hard way that lying can be more dangerous than any animal. They loved money and pride more than they loved following God’s ways and being truthful. Their dishonesty had a very deadly consequence that God used as an example to show us how serious lying is. (Acts 5:1-11)

Hey Parents, In Life Kids tonight we learned that God made each of us with a plan in mind. If we trust God, He will show us that plan. We read Isaiah 6:1-8 and talked about God's plan for Isaiah. Isaiah's reply to God is one we should all have, no matter our age. "Here I am Lord, Send me."

Hey Parents, In Life Kids today, we learned: Explorers have to navigate through dense jungles, cutting away overgrown vines to create new paths. It can be easy to get lost so it helps to have a compass to help guide you and keep you going in the right direction. When Rehoboam became king of Israel, the elders advised him on which direction to go. They encouraged him to take a new path and treat the people better than the previous king. But Rehoboam rejected their advice, and as a result, the people rejected Rehoboam and the kingdom of Israel was torn in two.

Starting January 12, we will be starting a new series called Bible Scavenger Hunt on Wednesday nights. During this fun series we will be on the hunt each week, searching for clues from the Bible that will help us discover God's plan. Please encourage your child to bring a non-digital Bible to Life Kids. (We will have extras - just in case). This is going to be a great adventure as we learn to find our identity and purpose in God.
