It’s day two of VBS 2026! From singing to crafts and games to reading the Bible, we are reminded that God created us in His own image and knows everything about us!

We are in the rainforest discovering God’s amazing creation! VBS 2026 is underway!

Life often pulls our attention in countless directions. We can become focused on our responsibilities, worries, and plans, leaving little room and time to seek God intentionally. Yet Psalm 105:4 reminds us of where our strength is found: in the presence of the Lord.

To seek God's face is more than simply asking for His help in difficult times. It is a daily invitation to know Him more deeply, trust Him fully, and walk closely with Him in every season. He gives us the strength we need. His Word tells us He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Whatever challenges or opportunities lie before you, take time to seek the Lord each day. Read His Word, spend time in prayer, and remember that the God who created you is faithful to guide, strengthen, and encourage you.

Lord, we ask you to help us seek You above all else. Fill us with your strength and draw us closer to you each day.

"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" — Matthew 19:14

When the disciples tried to send the children away, Jesus stopped them and made His priorities clear: children matter to God. He welcomed them, blessed them, and used their faith as an example for all believers.

This passage reminds us of the vital importance of children's ministry in the life of the church. Children are not merely the future of the church—they are a valuable part of the church today. Every Bible story taught, every prayer shared, every song sung, and every act of kindness shown plants seeds of faith in these precious hearts and points them to their Savior Jesus Christ.

We are called, as followers of Christ, to create ministry opportunities where children can come to know Jesus, experience His love, and grow in their faith. Whether through teaching, volunteering, encouraging families, or praying for our children and children around us, we all have a role in helping the next generation draw closer to Christ.

As our own Perry Presbyterian Church and many other churches throughout our community host Vacation Bible School programs this summer, let us thank God for the children in our churches and our community, and ask Him to strengthen all who teach, lead, and care for these children. Lord, bless the children of our churches and community and help us faithfully guide the next generation to know and follow You.

It’s not too late to register for Vacation Bible School 2026 - June 8th through 12th from 9 am until 12 noon! VBS is open to children who completed grades Pre-K/K4 through 5th grade during this current school year.

VBS campers will explore what it means to be rooted in a At Rainforest Falls, kids explore the nature of God! Rainforest Falls is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch! Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life.
