Today was nothing short of amazing!!

The whole purpose was to build connections. Businesses supporting nonprofits and community members getting involved. The connection itself is between the business/volunteer and the nonprofit. There are SO many ways to help & support.

I made a connection with a foster parent organization that deals mainly with kinship situations. It tugged at my heart because of our family situation.

The last photo is ALL the connections made and it was SO awesome!!

Events happen but people don’t realize the hard work, planning and goals that go into the event.

Community Connect is one of those events designed to create, build & foster relationships. Most people want to help and contribute to their community but just aren’t sure who or how. THIS event is specifically for that.

Businesses- come network from 11-12. Meet the 20 Nonprofits we are hosting and see where your heart leads you to help in anyway you can.

Community, students, retired, anyone & everyone - come meet us starting at 12:30. See what is in your community and where you find a match to volunteer, help, donate .. whatever the case may be

We will be hosting 20 Non-Profits locally available. Some you have heard of and some you have not. There is no better way to meet all the HELPERS and see how you too can become a HELPER

** Emory & UnitedHealthcare **

Letters are being sent out to patients that Emory will no longer be In Network with UHC effective Jan 1, 2027.

Open enrollment is October 15th thru Dec 7th. We will be able to review and talk about plan options during that time. I will be in touch with all of my clients to ensure you are properly covered for 2027.

More than likely this is a contract negotiation issue between Emory and UHC.

However the most important thing to understand is we have time to get you taken care of and get more clarification on the situation.
