If we spend our time criticizing and tearing our children down, they don't stop loving us. They stop loving themselves. Our words have action, use them wisely!

As school is about to start back up, and our time, energy and attention is getting another divide, focus on being present.

What are some tips or tools you've learned on your path as a dad? Often times, we want to step in with the answer or take care of an issue. What our kids may need, and want, most is for us to just listen.

Your sons need the same things. Don't let the day pass without modeling the things our children need to see in and from you.

Our hope was to relaunch the program in November, but a series of situations has pushed that back. Keep an eye out for news about or December breakfast shortly!

The school year is in swing, our kids are getting to be a bit older. Technology may be playing a major role in their lives. Are we staying up to date on what apps they are using, and do we know if they are safe? Our job is to be their parent, not their best friend. Talk to them. Check their devices. Set boundaries and consequences. Protecting them now needs to be a priority. If you know of some other apps that pose a danger, let us know!

If you are hesitant to have a conversation because it might be awkward, think about the conversation you might have to have if you don't.
