📣 Help Jake Ride for a Cause! 🚴‍♂️❤️

If you’ve been to Bushwhacker, chances are you’ve crossed paths with Jacob — he’s our retail buyer and sales professional: always ready to help, always ready to ride.

This summer, he’s taking on 175 miles in just one weekend as part of the Scenic Shore Bike Tour to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). He’s doing it for the people in his life — and in all of ours — who have faced blood cancers with courage and grit.

Last year, Jacob completed a 100-mile ride. This year, he’s pushing further: 100 miles on Saturday, 75 on Sunday. He’s anxious, excited, and riding with purpose — and we want to help him cross that fundraising finish line. 💥

Your donation helps fund research, life-saving treatments, and critical support for patients and families battling cancer. Every bit truly makes a difference.

Was a beautiful night for our Whacky Wednesday Ride! Join us every Wednesday-we meet between 6-630 at Bushwhacker and ride from there. All rider levels welcome!

Ride of Silence – This Wednesday, May 21 🚲

Join us at Tower Park at 6:30 PM for the Ride of Silence, a powerful, free group ride held during National Bike Month to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while riding on public roads.

This is a silent, slow-paced ride (no faster than 12 mph), where helmets are required, and riders are asked to follow the rules of the road in quiet solidarity. It’s a time to raise awareness among motorists, law enforcement, and city officials that cyclists have a legal right to our shared roadways.

We hope you’ll ride with us as we remember, reflect, and continue pushing for safer streets for everyone.

Friday, May 16th, we’re celebrating all the pedal-powered commuters out there. Did you know 40% of all trips in the U.S. are less than 2 miles? That makes biking a fun, healthy, and totally doable way to get around!

Bike to Work Day is part of National Bike to Work Week (May 12–18), and we’re here for it. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just rolling into the habit, we’re cheering you on!
