First pics of the new year. They are from the 1st, I’m just late posting. Backyard birds on a rare sunny afternoon. Love these little birds: downy woodpecker, dark-eyed junco, white-breasted nuthatch.

One year ago today. The lighthouse and sailor’s memorial at fin del mundo, Ushuaia, Argentina from the dock, with a rainbow, and some of the last of the amazing food we had on the trip.

One year ago today. After a surprisingly smooth Drake Passage, . You often smell and hear them before you see them. First stop had Chinstrap and and Gentoos just hanging out together.
