The resemblance of a girl

Lying in the midst of a forest.

Trees swaying..

Dirt and leaves surrounding her

Covering up her body.

The dirt smells like dried up animal urine.

The stench proceeds up in her nostrils

Her fingers grip the brown and green of nature.

The leaves are stale and prickly.

Leaving a very subtle stab in her fingertips.

How did she end up out here?

Nature is so pure.

She is alive.

Although, another girl is hiding behind a tree nearby

The girl behind the tree is the sinner.



These two brown eyed brunettes

May mirror each other in looks.

However, the girl in the midst of the forest

Can’t move.

The sinner behind the tree

Steps forward

And, weeps openly.



It is a sad and painful sight

To watch her replica’s soul clench tight.

Her dreams are broken

And neither of them know why.



How is she the sinner?

A group of doctor’s don’t know why.

A young girl is in pain,

And claims her sinner is laughing at her up high.



A replica of two personalities in a shadow of sin.

The room is dark

The lights are broken.

A tunnel is clamped shut.

A long black corridor leads her to her fate.

She walks up to a full length mirror

Capturing her eyes

She waves good bye

She and her sinner are gone

Before the next day comes by.
