I did this fun one on Lauren the other day to commemorate her sailing to the top of the world.

I painted a little painting for the grand reopening of my dear friend, Yng-Ru Chen’s gallery, .shadows.art . The gallery reopens Friday night, March 13th, a few blocks away from what used to be the Combat Zone. The neighborhood brings back a lot of fond and vivid memories of a delinquent youth. Along with the painting, I will be showing some video footage I shot in 1991 with my brothers , , Ed Cardillo and others.

Working on a fun project down in Hudson Square (the old printing district) . More info soon .

I’ve never played Canasta but explained to me that the 3 of hearts is a very important card in the game. It forces an immediate action and can Abruptly change the game. I think I might have to start carrying one around with me for a while in my wallet or in my shoe as reminder. We could probably all use a three of hearts right now ♥️♥️♥️

The first tattoo of 2026 pretty much sums up the way most of us are feeling so far. There’s only one earth ship and if this one goes down…

After a long break, I am easing back into tattooing a few days here and there, prioritizing newer flash.

Lynn at KC arts offered me her dad’s old Dire Straits cassettes for scrimshaw and I couldn’t resist.

KC arts on Court Street in Brooklyn was opened by artists 34 years ago. I’ve been buying pens , pencils and getting things framed there for the past 28 years.
