Summer hours will go into effect Sunday, June 28. We'll be open on Saturdays, July 11 through August 29, from 10 AM-2 PM and closed on Sundays, June 28-August 30. Weekdays will remain the same.🌞

Get ready to unearth a story this summer, because it's official - registration for children's Summer Reading is now open!🦖🦕📚☀

Throughout the summer, kids can read books and complete fun challenges to earn prizes and win a special prize at the Finale Party! To sign up, fill out a registration card at PPL and pick up an Unearth a Story Reading Game packet in the Children’s Room.

Oh, and if you participate in Summer Reading at PPL, be sure to claim your cute, cheery lawn sign at the Information Desk to let your friends and neighbors know that you'll be reading with PPL this summer...like the cool person you are.😎(You can thank our fabulous Friends of the Penfield Public Library and Penfield Public Library Foundation, Inc. for the signs!)

Summer Reading is right around the corner with children's registration beginning this Monday, June 15...and we're trying something special this year.

Thanks to the Friends of the Penfield Public Library and the Penfield Public Library Foundation, Inc., these cute, cheery lawn signs are for any individual or family that participates in the Summer Reading Game at PPL, whether they're an adult, a teen, a tween, or one of our youngest patrons!

The signs will be available on a first-come-first-served basis at the Information Desk beginning June 15 while supplies last (one per family, please), so if your child registers for Summer Reading or you plan to fill out entry forms for the adult/teen reading games beginning on June 29, you're welcome to snag a lawn sign.

Early voting kicks off next Saturday, June 13 in PPL's Ruth Braman Room!

This June, Monroe County registered voters can vote early for the June 23 primary at PPL during the dates and times below, so mark your calendar.
