Third Grade track meet - another great day of competition and great sportsmanship!

Pet Day is highly anticipated by second graders all year long! (Check back-It is going to take me a bit to upload ALL the pictures.)

4th Grade Track Meet was a success! They had fun, did well, but the best part was how everyone cheered everyone on! What a great display of teamwork!

As a principal I often find myself executing ‘other duties as assigned’!

Our playground, nestled up to the fields, often becomes a favored habitat for critters. Last year we enjoyed wild turkeys and deer.

This week, much to the dismay of SOME staff, we had a ‘nope rope’ sunning under a table in the cozy black tire chips.

Our students are very respectful to these visitors. I keep my grabbers handy so I can safely relocate this type of friend up the hill to a quieter neighborhood!

At our final assembly of the year we: -recognized library bookmark winners
-top SORA readers
-introduced Bucky to Pete the Cat
-cheered of 5th graders moving onto SMS
-celebrated some amazing student teachers and long term subs who have been with us this year!

Fifth grade track meet was amazing. Our Mustangs gave it their all. We brought home a lot of ribbons. More importantly, they exhibited great sportsmanship!
