In the last week & 1/2 I’ve been working on UFO’s . Kits I’ve had cut up or partially done for a longtime, quilt tops I’ve had done & needed quilting.
I’ve been catching them up in between client quilts & finishing kits. The last project in from 2006! 😳(I was afraid of the challenge & cut wrong & had to find new fabric!)

We love sharing the finished masterpieces, but longarming isn’t always seamless. Behind every beautiful quilt are the moments we don’t talk about as much: short backings, crooked loads, and the dreaded task of ripping out stitches.
Had to reverse stitch two partial rows!
Check out the second photo for my unique tools of the trade.
A seam ripper is nice to cut the stitches, but the curved tool is a blessing, it is blunt so as not to cut stitches or cut fabric. It’s such a useful tool every longarm quilter needs!
