We’ve had an overwhelming response to our announcement that Pendleton Music Company is for sale. Thank you for the support, kind words, and shares!

Since the announcement, many people have asked us if we’re going out of business. The answer is NO! The business is for sale, but Pendleton Music Company is still here serving musicians as always.

Although we (Will and Sarah) will be relocating, we believe Pendleton deserves a music store and we’d love nothing more than to see it continue here under new ownership rather than packing it up and taking it with us.

Our hope is to find a buyer who shares our passion for music and wants to keep this long-standing community resource going strong. We’re giving plenty of notice, hopeful that the transition can be smooth and the music doesn’t miss a beat.

But just to clear up any confusion:
We are not closing.
We are not out of business.
We are still open, serving musicians daily, and fully operational.

We’ve loved continuing building this business and raising our family in Pendleton. With our youngest about to graduate, we’ll soon be relocating and we want to pass the torch to a new owner who shares our passion for music and our community. Pendleton has had a music store for decades, and we want to ensure local musicians continue to have a place to gather, grow, and get the support they need.
