What a wonderful day learning together with our friends from Walla Walla County in Washington! Youth came together to learn new skills, build relationships, and apply their knowledge!

Umatilla County 4-H Volunteers are the heart of our 4-H community! We celebrate them all year long but want to take an extra moment to emphasize our gratitude during National Volunteer Appreciation Week. Thank you to each of you who willingly sacrifice your time, share your talents, and help our youth find their spark!

Club volunteers - Don't forget to join us Monday night in Pendleton for the April club volunteers meeting. The meeting agenda has been emailed out to all approved volunteers. Hope to see you there!

Need help with your record book?
Join us for one of our three record book work sessions this year. The first session will be next Tuesday, April 22 at the Milton-Freewater Extension Office from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025 LIVESTOCK DAY EVENT HAS BEEN EXTENDED!
Registration forms and a $10 registration fee are DUE APRIL 14th.
Both youth and adult attendees will need to fill out a form and pay individually.

Cash or check payment can be mailed or brought into the WSU Extension Office, 328 W. Poplar St., Walla Walla, WA 99362. Office hours are 8:00 AM to Noon and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
*Checks must be made out to "4-H Leaders Council" in order to be accepted.
An online payment option is available through PayPal (link available in registration form).
*Online registration is $11 per participant
**Make sure to include the names of those you are registering in the notes section to ensure registration is complete

Have you registered for your YQCA class yet? The first of the five classes we are offering happens next week! Be sure to check your email for class dates and times, registration information, links, and details. Register to attend a class if you need to be YQCA certified for EOLS or the Umatilla County Fair. It's here! The 2025 UCF season officially kicked off Saturday with our market steer weigh ins. Thank you to our Umatilla County Fair Youth Livestock Auction committee and other volunteers for all you do for our youth. Umatilla County 4-H members do not forget to register for your mandatory YQCA certification class. We are hosting five classes to choose from. The first classes are in two weeks. COME SEE US! Our Umatilla County 4-H Oregon leadership kids are excited to share safety tips and fun giveaways with the youth of our community. We will be at the Farm City Ag & Home Expo at EOTEC until 3 pm today, Saturday, March 8th.
