Hey friends, this last year was a 100% shock to my story. Yet, through the hardest parts, I stayed strong, carried the heaviest trauma and feel stronger than ever. I trusted Gods plan and I knew he would never fail me, he has blessed me in so many ways! It's incredible what can happen when you trust in him, I can't even begin to explain what he has done in my life!

With all the heartships, trials, and growth I've had, I've decided to do something special for someone! I am hoping this will bless someone and bring a little light into their life!

So.. for my 30th birthday this year, I've decided to gift someone with $100.

Meet Devon. The previous owner of Sugar Hair Salon.

3 years ago, I needed change on where I was. I asked Devon if she would be interested in selling the salon to me. We sat down, talked and agreed. However, a funny fact about us is that we thought we were going to not get along with each other. Fast forward down the road, THIS WOMEN IS MY SIDEKICK😂 we are two peas in a pod!! It's funny how people judge others off of first impressions and we totally did that to each other 🤷🏽‍♀️

We love working together! And we are so thankful for all of the clients that come through our doors!

Fought the hardest, darkest, silenced battles last year. When everything you questioned became reality... I hit rock bottom hard. I let people talk and hate and still talk about me because no one sees the trauma I have carried & I've learned to accept that. No one will ever know your full story and that's not for you to explain to everyone. Learn to except everyone is judgmental. Not once did I ever let that bring me down and walk away from the hard work I put into my business and the life I have created for my boys and I. This year I have decided to delete my personal Instagram, and not share what is going on in my life. I'll give updates here and there but I realized staying silent is always the best.

Again, I'm beyond thankful for all of my clients that continue sticking by my side through it all. And I'm beyond thankful we were nominated one of Madison County's Best Hair Salon.
