I dropped my daughter off for her volunteer shift and stopped by the restaurant for a morning coffee...
Big mistake. 😅
Victor saw me sitting still and suddenly I was shredding meat for picadillo.
A little later, the meat was back in the pot with fresh vegetables, and before I knew it, lunch was ready.
I guess that's what happens when you own a restaurant. 😂
At least I got a coffee and a picadillo taco out of the deal. 🌮☕

I was trying to film an aesthetic drink video...
Victor was trying to figure out how much longer he had to wait before drinking it. 😂
Needless to say, I felt bad and eventually let him have it.
Sometimes the behind-the-scenes moments are better than the video we planned to make. ❤️
The other day, a little boy took a sip of his chocolate milk and asked me:
"What's your secret?"
I smiled and said:
❤️ "Love."
The truth is, there's nothing fancy about it. It's just one of our favorite drinks to make.

When we were kids, it was common to find photographers in town squares across Mexico with little horses or donkeys, ready to take souvenir pictures.
My dad still has one of those photos and lovingly calls it “my little horse picture.” ❤️
A few weeks ago, we brought this little donkey to Los Chilaquiles. It reminded us of those simple childhood memories, and we thought it would be a fun way for families to create new ones.
This is Ellie. She walks into Los Chilaquiles like it's her second home. Some of our team members are part of her family, and seeing her smile always brightens our day.
Today, she stopped for a picture with our little donkey, and we couldn't resist sharing it. 🫏📸❤️

Cuando éramos niños, era común encontrar fotógrafos en las plazas de muchos pueblos de México con sus caballitos o burritos para tomar fotos de recuerdo.
Mi papá todavía conserva una de esas fotos y siempre la recuerda como "la foto de mi caballito". ❤️
Hace apenas unas semanas decidimos traer este burrito a Los Chilaquiles. Nos gustó la idea de rescatar un pedacito de esa tradición y crear nuevos recuerdos para las familias que nos visitan.
Esta es Ellie. Ella entra al restaurante como si fuera su casa y hoy nos regaló esta hermosa foto. Algunos de nuestros trabajadores son parte de su familia, así que verla aquí siempre nos alegra el día.
