Gathering on Sundays at 10 am

Loving God - Loving People
Making Disciples - Following Jesus

05/03/2026

You were made for freedom in Christ, but it’s easy to drift back into the cage.

This Sunday we start Part 1 of The Law of Liberty from Galatians 5 and look at one powerful truth: Jesus is enough.

Come as you are, no pressure, just real hope.

Did I do enough?
Did I say enough?
Am I enough?

If you’ve ever asked those questions, you are not alone.

This Sunday we are looking at a moment where Jesus challenges performance-based faith and invites us into something better: true rest in Him.

Come join us.

“Paid in Full” — Pendleton Hope Venture 04/21/2026

The resurrection of Jesus is more than a historical moment, it was the fulfillment of all the Old Testament Law. In case you missed our last sermon in this series check it out here:

“Paid in Full” — Pendleton Hope Venture Hebrews 10:1-14 (ESV) For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. 2  Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be o

This Sunday we’re in Hebrews 10:1–14, looking at the final sacrifice of Jesus and what it means that He didn’t just make a way, He finished the work.

The Law revealed our debt, Jesus paid it in full. ✝️

We keep things simple, easygoing, and family-friendly, so come just as you are.

Join us at 10:00 AM at Sunridge Middle School.
There’s a seat for you, bring someone with you.

Out here, we know what it means to measure up, whether it’s a fence line, a board, or a hard day’s work.

This Sunday we’re looking at Matthew 5:17–20 and a truth that comes close to home: God didn’t lower the standard, Jesus met it.

He didn’t lower the bar: He cleared it.

Join us Sunday at 10:00 AM at Sunridge Middle School. We’d love to have you with us.

Tonight is Good Friday.

We’re opening our home for a simple time to slow down, read through Matthew 27, sing, and remember the cross.

Nothing fancy, just Scripture, worship, and space to reflect on what Jesus has done.

If you’ve been meaning to come back, or you’ve never been before, you’re welcome here.

🕯️ Tonight, Umpleby’s house @ 7pm.

Before the empty tomb… there was a cross.
Come remember with us.

Zechariah 9:9-11 | "The Greater Esther" | Pastor Aaron Umpleby | Pendleton Hope Venture Church 03/31/2026

Missed Sunday? This is one you’ll want to catch.

We wrapped up the book of Esther and looked at how the entire story points beyond itself—to Jesus as the greater Esther.

From a hidden queen who risked her life…
to a visible King who gave His life.

Looking at Zechariah 9:9–11, we saw that Palm Sunday isn’t just a celebration—it’s the arrival of a King on a rescue mission. What looked like defeat at the cross becomes the greatest reversal in history.

If you’ve ever wondered where God is in the middle of your story, this message is for you.

Tomorrow is Palm Sunday 🌿

Around here, we don’t get too caught up in hype, but this is a Sunday that matters.

For the last several weeks, we’ve been walking through the story of Esther and seeing how God works behind the scenes, steady, quiet, and faithful, even when no one else can see it. A young woman stepped forward, risked everything, and God used it to save His people.

But the whole time the story was pointing to something bigger. Because Jesus is the greater Esther.

He didn’t step forward hoping things would work out. He came knowing exactly what it would cost. He rode into Jerusalem not to take a crown, but to go to a cross… and to bring life where there should have been death.

If you’ve been meaning to get back to church, this is a good Sunday to do it. If you’ve never been, you’re welcome here, no pressure, no spotlight. Just real people, opening God’s Word together and looking to Jesus.

Join us tomorrow at Hope Venture Church in Pendleton at Sunridge Middle School at 10am!

We’d be glad to see you.
