The MVMS Summer Reading challenge officially starts tomorrow at 2:30- be sure to swing by the library to grab a pamphlet to record ✍️ your books read 📖 this summer!

🌲🚀 From the woods to the launchpad!
Our 7th-grade science classes took their learning outside for a special StoryWalk® featuring Sadie Sprocket Builds a Rocket by Sue Fliess. Students hiked through the trails 🌲 , read page by page 📖 , and wrapped up the adventure by designing their very own rockets 🚀 !
Teamwork makes the dream work—huge shoutout to our amazing Mrs. Irving for collaborating with the library to bring this literacy-meets-STEM adventure to life. 🛠️✨

🩵 My friends in room 103 came in for another read 📖 aloud and craft ✂️ today!
We read Couch Potato 🥔 by & Jory John, discussed the message (get off the couch/devices and get outside ☀️ with your pals!) and then we made our own potatoes!
