IT'S TIME!!!... for the PACK A BAG TO INDEPENDENCE CHALLENGE!!
We give you the suitcase, you pack it!

Choose your theme, pick up your suitcase and promo kit, display it at your business, church, office or home and then collect donations through the summer. June 15 - August 15.

You can win prizes but most importantly you will help our young people who are aging out of foster care and moving in to their very first home. They need EVERYTHING!

Last weekend all of the graduating youth in foster care, statewide, were celebrated at the annual grad party!

In partnership with Children's Aid Society of Alabama and the Department of Human Resources Independent Living office, Second Shift provided LIFE Directories for each youth!

These books are updated annually and filled with information and tools to help them live their best LIFE!

A little peek at the HomeFULLness House so far... A HUGE thank you to the Rogers "Mr. Rogers Neighborhood" small group from The Church at Brook Hills (Living room and bedrooms) and the women's group at the Camp Branch United Methodist Church (Dining room). They have made it such a lovely home for our residents!
