Last week, two Airborne qualified Cadets took to the skies for a static line jump with US Army Airborne School, Fort Benning.

We train to fight, to win and to work as a team here at Fort Benning. Whether it's Enlisted Soldiers going through OSUT or Officers going through IBOLC or ABOLC, we create the respectable, confident and competent next generation of maneuver leaders in the U.S. Army.

This day 76 years ago on June 6, 1944 the Allied invasion of Normany was launched. The landing at Normandy of 156,000 American, British, and Canadian forces on June 6, 1944, marked the beginning of the end of World War II.
