Demand Rises as Donations Decline: Blood Drive to Be Held June 17 at Hen Hud Library 06/09/2026

The New York Blood Center will host a blood drive on Tuesday, June 17, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Constance Dyckman Community Room inside the Hendrick Hudson Free Library in Montrose.

Organizers say blood donations have declined across the region while hospitals are entering one of the year's highest-demand periods. A single donation can help up to three people in need of transfusions. Appointments are encouraged, though walk-ins will be accepted if space is available.
