AMI's advice for the day, when downloading files or programs from the internet, make sure you read everything before you keep clicking through. Most times, people download viruses onto their computers because they don't fully read what they are downloading. Also, once you are installing the program, read all the prompt windows that come up. Programs like to install tool bars and random things onto your computer. So make sure those boxes are unchecked! It's all about knowing what you're doing!

Our phone for the business line wouldn't charge. I had only had it 6 months. So, I switched out the sim into another phone. I was convinced I could fix this one. I narrowed it down to the usb port not connecting to the charger. When I took it apart, it wasn't a simple usb port to change, it was actually soldered to the board. I combed eBay for used phones one that worked but weren't cosmetically pretty. Finally, after 3 months of looking, I found one with a broken hinge (yes, I have a flip phone...I love them). I promptly bought it for $20 and when it got here changed out the board. Phone works like a charm now AND I have a spare phone for parts! Moral of the story, sometimes things can be fixed if you just try.

Weekend update: the builder bought the bathroom fixtures (lights, sink, faucet, toilet)! I was informed I was in charge of picking the color of paint for the walls and what kind of flooring I would like. And I got my key!

Just a little update on our building...I called the electric company today and got a new meter install date and an electricity plan! So close to having it up and running!

New server and computer time!

Exciting things are happening with AMI! I am currently trying to make our website better. Along with creating a new logo! Have I bit off more than I can chew? We shall see!
