Kala Kennels

It’s been two months to the day and I am still so heartbroken and devastated at the passing of my sweet baby girl. 13 1/2 years she has been by my side through so much. So many adventures and momentous occasions, successes and trials she was there through it all. I almost don’t know what to do without her. She passed the day after thanksgiving, just two months after her brother Dusty did in September. They were both truly exceptional dogs and companions. She was more than a legend, she was a queen, a matriarch, the alpha female, the most incredible nurturing and protective mother, and my best friend. She had 5 litters with 40 puppies in her bloodline and never lost a single pup. She started this line of great dogs that have gone on to accomplish many wonderful things. As we laid her to rest we taught our kids the valuable lesson of love and loss, we all cried while working together as a family. I am so grateful for all the love she gave me and my sweet family. I will forever miss her incredibly loving comfort. Thank you for all the wonderful memories, you’ll forever be my first baby girl. Until we meet again ♥️

Today we remember a legend. One of the greatest dogs I’ve ever known and the brother of my Kala. He was 13 and 1/2 years old! He had sired 8 litters with countless beautiful puppies to carry his line. Many of which became therapy and service animals for many people in need. We remember him as the incredible runner and swimmer he was and his loyal tender companionship. He was without a doubt the bestest good boy! ♥️♥️ We love and miss you sweet Dusty!
