False teaching is never harmless.
Paul warned Titus that false teachers must be silenced because their deception destroys lives, families, and faith. This is more than just theological disagreement, it’s intentional deception meant to lure people away from the truth so that the false teacher can profit at their expense. At the heart of every false teacher and the root of every false doctrine is money and power.

“Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”
~1 Timothy 6:9-10

Jesus also warned about those who look righteous outwardly while their hearts remain far from God. True righteousness is not about appearances, titles, or empty words. It’s about a heart transformed by the grace of God. God isn’t so much concerned with what we claim to be, as He is how well we obey the leading of His Holy Spirit.

We all should ask ourselves:
“Is my life consistent with what I say that I believe?”

The Bible teaches that leadership doesn’t start on the public stage but on the private stage of the home. If a person isn’t demonstrating godly leadership at home, they should never be allowed to lead in public.

Godly leadership is not built on culture, or popularity… it is built on surrender to Christ, obedience to His Word, and a life that reflects Him. Truth without character is hypocrisy. Character without truth leads to confusion. Godly leaders cling to both, knowing they cannot lead on their own, they are dependent on Jesus.

No matter how much you love and care for your children, God loves and cares for them more! God not only cares for them, but He also cares deeply about you.

The Bible says God gently leads those that have young. So today He calls us to live a sincere, undisguised faith in front of our children. To use everyday mundane moments to teach the principles of God’s word. To allow God to lead us to places of rest and restoration when we grow weary. To be convinced that what God has us doing is eternally important, even when it isn’t embraced by our culture.

Everything we do, at the leading of the Holy Spirit, matters. When we are intentional with what we say and do, we can ensure that our children learn important eternal lessons that can change the world!
