Deck the Halls! – Fuzion It was a holly jolly holiday party! On December 12th, Fuzion hosted its annual holiday gala. It’s always wonderful to see family, friends, clients, and neighbors chilling out and kicking back with a Fuzion Martini and some great food.

CDS – What’s in an Acronym? A New Logo! – Fuzion   What is CDS you ask? Why it’s Hasbro’s Creative Development Studios. A group of 10 different departments from Package Engineering to Creative Operations to Sustainability. Each with their own identity and or icon.

It was an exciting day here at Fuzion! 25 students from DownCity Design came to see the workings of real design firms. After a short introduction half of the group visited our neighbors on the 4th floor, LLB Architects; and half remained at Fuzion, and switched locations halfway through their time here. Students viewed a presentation on "The Birth of Brand," were shown a CAD table demonstration, and spoke with our designers about their careers.

It’s always fun to share our passion with future designers, and we hope that we may have helped shape someone’s career aspirations!

Fuzion’s latest intern Kim, from Davies Vocational high school, recently completed her internship! Kim, during her time at Fuzion decided to begin the branding process for a tea company she came up with. To kickstart her project Kim brainstormed creative names and sent out an e-survey to friends, family and Fuzion employees to vote on. Kim landed on the name “Golden Fox Teas” and from there began the design process. She researched competitor tea brands, tea logos and packaging, fonts, illustrations and more to determine what the look and feel of her brand would be.

Once Kim began designing, she went through several presentations and critique sessions to refine her designs. At the end of her internship Kim had designed a logo and business card for Golden Fox Teas that embodied the characteristics she felt the brand would have.

Kim, it was a pleasure to have you as an intern this summer. Good luck in your senior year of high school!
