Last weeks workshop hosted by was all about cyanotype photography! Our youth got to learn the history of cyanotypes and the process behind making one themselves 🙌

A cyanotype is a unique photographic process that creates beautiful blue-toned prints by using sunlight to expose objects on light-sensitive paper ☀️🌻🔖

SOLID was able to reach its targeted goal in Vans sales! 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Seabrooks Family 🙏

We’re forever grateful for the amazing work Najee was able to accomplish in his life, lets continue to support the work Najee fought so hard for 👊💙🌎☮️

TOMORROW‼️Our partners at are holding a basketball showcase to raise money for the Najee Seabrooks Scholarship. SOLID will be there selling vans from 1 - 5pm. Vans will cost $5 and $10 (depending on sizes) and all money raised is going to the Seabrooks family. Come on out, buy some shoes, and show love to the Seabrooks family and the community! 💙

It has been challenging to create programing during this cold season, and especially without an HQ of our own. Reflecting on this past summer and all of the amazing trips we were able to create for our youth - SOLID is reminded to KEEP PUSHING through hard times 👊

All of what we were able to accomplish up until now has been through the continued support from everyone that has visited SOLID. Whether you’re a regular or someone who’s only been to one of our programs, SOLID encourages you to KEEP PUSHING with us!! 💙

Saturday 12/3 we have a fundraiser selling Vans shoes and apparel at the Rockpoint Holiday Bazaar. We’ve got shoes for the whole family! $25 each (or 3 for $60) for shoes, and $5 tees!

Also - help us provide 29 pairs of shoes for the Skate Club at school 16 in Paterson!

The Holiday Bazaar is at 400 N. Haledon Ave in North Haledon NJ from 9:30-3. Come say hi!

Starting this Monday the 7th, we’ll be opening Spring registration for our 8-week Skate Lesson Program! Our CPR and first aid certified skate instructors are devoted to teaching children ages 8-12 all of the ins and outs of basic skateboarding through games and other fun activities! DM for more info.

Many have asked and we have delivered, starting today our weekly skate sessions will be extended to 9pm on both Monday and Wednesday! Thanks to our staff increase we're able to operate for a longer period of time going forward. We're so stoked to be able to bring you this news and excited to see many new faces!

Have you been wanting to design your very own setup? Starting this week we will be taking blueprints for setups in the HQ. Your blueprint will then be put on our story as a poll and the skaters will vote for what setup we choose. We find it crucial that we keep the skater input and creativity intact, so we have created this new system to do just that! DM us a blueprint or submit it to anyone of our staff members at Solid. Can't wait to see what you come up with! 👊

We would like to introduce our three new SOLID staff members - Eli, Paige, and Erin! Over the last few months, each starting off as volunteers, these three have been a huge help to our organization. So excited to have these wonderful people onboard at SOLID helping plan future programs and events! 👊

Skate nights have been a huge success! 👊 Thank you to everyone who has gotten a chance to stop by and skate our HQ.
