This beautiful girl has been thriving in foster care and has even been working with  to continue building her social skills. Lola is a wonderful companion who loves being with her people and would do best in a home where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves.

Lola is dog-friendly, enjoys walks and hikes, and is always up for an adventure. After spending more than two years in the shelter, she’s finally getting a taste of the good life in foster care with but what Lola really wants is a family of her very own.

🐾 Dolly Is Home… Forever! 🐾

As it turns out, Dolly had already found her forever home all along!

Six months ago, we learned that Dolly had been wandering the streets of Newark for nearly two months from our colleagues Marcia and Kelly. The worked diligently to trap her and they had no idea what to expect, but the moment she came out of the trap, they discovered she was one of the sweetest, most loving dogs we had ever met.

After spending time with Marcia and then Kelly for a couple of weeks, Leslie Prendergast stepped up to foster Dolly. What started as fostering quickly turned into something much more—Leslie fell in love.

Dolly settled beautifully into Leslie’s home, where she joined a family that regularly fosters dogs in need. Before long, Dolly revealed another special gift: helping nervous foster dogs feel safe. She became an emotional support dog to many of Leslie’s fosters, offering comfort and reassurance as they adjusted and learned to trust.

Dolly does have some medical issues that are being carefully managed, and we are incredibly grateful to our donors whose support has helped make her ongoing care possible.

A heartfelt thank you to Leslie for opening her home and heart to Dolly before knowing much about her, and for providing her with the love, patience, and care she deserves. Some dogs are just meant to stay, and Dolly is exactly where she belongs—home.

🐾🎉 Queen (NKA Serena) is ADOPTED! 🎉🐾

When Serena’s previous owners could no longer properly care for her, we stepped in to help find her the loving home she deserved. From the moment we met her, it was clear that Serena was an absolute shining star. ✨

Watching her journey and seeing her so happy, safe, and loved has been incredibly rewarding. Her new family was searching for the perfect fit, and they found exactly that in Serena. We truly couldn’t be happier for all of them! April Gonnerman
