⚠️ This disorder often affects children who have other behavioral and developmental conditions, such as depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, or eating disorders.

➡️ Children with OCD live with unwanted obsessive thoughts that trigger 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 urges to do things they believe will protect them or someone they care about.

⚠️ With thoughts of this type, your kid may feel an intense need to repeat very specific actions 🔁 and may not be able to explain why, but as we mentioned, the reason is to protect himself/herself or his/her loved ones.

✅ In addition to these rules to get the best sunscreen for your child, it is also important that you take into account the following APP recommendations:

1️⃣ Put your children on sunscreen 15 to 30 minutes before they go outside. It needs time to absorb into the skin.

2️⃣ Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours and after swimming 🏊 sweating, or towel drying.

3️⃣ Limit sun ☀️ exposure between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm when UV rays are strongest.

4️⃣ Have them wear sunglasses with at least 99% UV protection. Look for youth size sunglasses with this protection for your child 😎

1️⃣ The American Academy of Pediatrics and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend using an insect repellent product 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 (𝗘𝗣𝗔).

These products contain ingredients such as DEET, picaridin, oil of lemon eucalyptus ✅

2️⃣ Choose products in the form of lotions 🧴 sticks or unpressurized sprays.

3️⃣ Wash your children's skin with soap 🧼 and water when they return indoors.

4️⃣ Try to avoid combination sunscreen/repellent products.

5️⃣ 🚫Don't put repellent on children's hands 🖐️ They may put their hands with insect repellent in their mouth and eyes.

👶 If your little one is between 6 months to 1 year and cannot tolerate undiluted breast milk or formula, consider a commercial rehydration solution that contains sugars and salts, but ❌DO NOT use water❌

🧒When your kid is 1 year and older, please be careful with commercial sports drinks because although they replace salts, they can also contain large amounts of sugar, which could make diarrhea worse.

Moreover, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends giving your child liquid with age-appropriate bottle or cup 🥛 If your baby cannot sip from a bottle or cup, try using a teaspoon or syringe.
