Celebrate your family as it is right now. Don't wait till you lose that baby weight. Don't wait for the 3 yr old to stop losing their mind. Don't wait for your teenager to lose their braces. Capture them as they are. Get rid of the Pinterest photos in your head, and don't let your family as they are right now, disappear. Because they will. Things will change. And they will never be the same as they are right now.

Posting consistently is not my forte. Which definitely hinders who/how many see these few and far between posts. But I've had some great families lately that need to be put out into the world. ❤️

Sometimes I'm appalled at how well my computer can recognize me and unlock my computer. Like, that over exaggerated stretch/yawn combo should not have just unlocked my computer with facial recognition. 🫤

I am READY for summer. I am READY to be done with school. I am READY to be done with end of the year extras. It's been great. But I'm ready to move on now.

Last week was Hannah's funeral. What a blessing to have been able to take photos for her family a couple times this last year. She will be missed so much by so many. It's always hard to find the right words for such incredible people. Her funeral was beautiful and the words spoken there from her family were a perfect testament of peace, hope, and joy.

K so hear me out, I greatly feel the need to thank chatgpt when it solves something so frustrating, so quickly. I mean, I really need this tool to continue to work for me. I feel so ungrateful asking without a please or thank you. Such a game changer. 😆

Families are not a one-size-fits-all, and not every family feels they need a full session every year! These sessions are great for families with small children that you know are just not going to last, or maybe you only need just a few updated photos to document how your family is changing. They could be for quick children's portrait updates to show the growth from year to year, for high school grad photos in their cap and gown... Basically, if you're looking for a quick and simple, but quality update, these are for you! I only do minis just once or twice a year, so if you're on the fence, you probably need to take a long hard look at your life choices. Joking! Juuuust jokin. 😏

So I accidentally agreed to coach the 5 yr old Tball team, thinking well, they're short on coaches and this is an age I don't need to teach a lot of technique just yet, can't be too hard. After hanging up, immediate regret as the next thought was, oh my gosh, I'm going to be herding cats. 😳 Send help.
