A few pictures from our 2026 NEC Update Training and NEC Application and Review Training series from our most recent session this week for Idaho National Laboratories in Idaho Falls. We get the best feedback on this series because we have so much fun teaching it and getting everyone involved. We’ve all sat through terrible mandatory training. Our moto is: Training Sucks! Unless it’s ElecTrain.
If your organization is looking for 2026 NEC Update, NFPA 70E Electrical Safety, or similar training, we definitely offer it. Reach out to us at [email protected]. 🤓

This is our last sticker themed post for the week! The Training Sucks theme has gone over pretty well so far, so stand by for new creative ways for us to share and keep what we do both fun and the highest quality.
We could use a new model for these stickers already though… 😒

This sticker commemorates one of our European consultants from Germany, Stephen Kazmierski. His depth of knowledge humbles most of us and his positive personality make him a fun, engaging, and challenging instructor. Stephen is a master electrician but he specializes in electric vehicle architecture and high voltage batteries. Here he is depicted as an animated character from a classic kids cartoon. Can you guess who he is supposed to be?

Today, we are pleased to present our new sticker commemorating Jennifer Martin and her incredible knowledge she brings to the classroom as well as audits, inspections, program development, and any other electrical task under the sun. She will enthusiastically welcome you to the classroom every time and her energy and excitement keep you engaged. If you have any good experiences or memories of her teaching one of your classes, please take a second and share in the comments!

We all know that safety and electrical training are often boring and it’s our goal at ElecTrain to make our training memorable and impactful so that you look forward to the next training opportunity!

This week we are attending the IEEE Electrical Safety Workshop in Round Rock, Texas. We will be have a booth open on Wednesday at the vendor show and we will have a presentation on Friday titled: “Five Frustrating Electric Vehicle Safety Practices” that you should check out!
In the meantime, I’ll share some of the new stickers that are among several other giveaways that we will have at the booth, so stop on by and grab one. This is the first new sticker of several that we are sharing this week.

We were grateful to be able to support electrical safety improvements with one of our European customers that install and maintain electric vehicle charging stations across Europe. We conducted two instructor led sessions simultaneously, one in Warsaw, Poland and the second session in Munich, Germany. Electricity impacts the body the same around the world and all the electrical safety principles hold as true in Europe as they do in the United States, with the exception of all these darn metric units… 🤣

Hanging out with some of our colleagues and friends from across the Department of Energy Complex that were in town this week.
ElecTrain also does training at our facility, but we do parties pretty well too. 🤣🤣🤣
Credit to Jennifer Martin for the filter.

We had a little more space for our Christmas Party this year and were able to have a few more people join us! It was a wonderful success with a competitive white elephant gift exchange, costume contest of which the prize was stolen by the grinch, and some great food and good times with wonderful people! We look forward to another successful year and a better celebration next Christmas! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our friends, customers, and colleagues!!!

First week of EV safety training at the new training center has gone fantastic! Lots of props, meters, PPE, and tools to make for incredible hands on training!
