Right in the middle of crafting Americana designs i had the urge to do something for Fall! I made this little "shelf sitter" trying
a few ️things - strips, scalloped edging, rusty star on bow, corrugated paper, and decoupage - I will use on some larger designs.
I like the way it turned out!

Crafting buddies. My daughter Sara and I have always had crafting in common. We also both love antique and junk stores. And finding fiestaware dishes. Especially old, discontinued colors and pieces. This was my Mothers Day gift from her. She gave them to me when I was in Bismarck ND last week for her daughters graduation. My favirite color and a couple pieces you cant get anymore..

In my quest to replace the plastic storage in my craft room with old and antique pieces ....
I love this little piece. Found it in one of my favorite antique shops in Kennewick. Perfect for keeping things I'm using for current projects.

If you are a crafter you know we WILL craft no matter where we do it. I recently read of a gal who crafted from a hospital bed in her home.
Some crafters use the kitchen table, some their their closet, some even from a storage unit. As most of you know, I have recently downsized from my wonderful set up in the mountains, to a small bedroom and 1/3 of our garage. To my surprise, I am finding storage solutions and it is working. Room for everything. Where do you craft?

I had so much fun making this cute "Uncle Sam"! Lots of ideas for displaying this little guy. He even looks cute right here on my craft cupboard door. I know many of you may want one so I will be taking orders.
