ALL proceeds will be donated - half to the Tongva Wildfire Recovery Fund (.taraxat) and half (in collaboration with ) to the GoFundMe campaigns of those who have lost their homes and livelihoods in the 2025 fires. We will be posting all receipts for transparency!!

my wife and i and our two cats, have been evacuated from our home in east pasadena since last tuesday evening. we were in between two fires when we left, and the next day ended up having to flee from the onset of the fire in hollywood ten minutes after loading the cats and our things into another friends place.. luckily we are safe. and thus far our place has not been lost, though due to toxic air and water conditions as well as bad wind conditions returning tonight, and through wednesday. we can not yet return safely.. thanks so much to our friends who’ve given our little family safe spaces to be during this absolute insane time, and to all of the emergency workers who are putting in such an unimaginable effort to save lives right now. to those of you who know, we were displaced by a fire from our HLP home last year, and if we learned anything from then until now it’s that you just have to KEEP GOING.. keep moving, and don’t stop. just get to where you need to be, one step at a time, and take the best care of yourself as you possibly can, until you make your way ‘home’ again… included in this post are many resources available to musicians and people who also work in the industry that can be an invaluable lifeline for many of us right now.
also included is a link in the linktree to LA FIRE MUTUAL AID RESOURCES which pools together a massive range of assistance via a map so you can pinpoint what’s nearest to you.
one more thing is please make an effort to MASK UP! preferably an N95 with a respirator, or the kind that I am wearing in the picture above, which can protect against asbestos. many of the homes burning in these fires are pre asbestos regulation era.. despite unreliable shifting AQI readings, and shifting consensus PLEASE do as much as you can to protect yourself from breathing in unknown toxins.
