Mary Marandjian is the Founder of MVMPR, a freelance practice that combines her background in journalism with a focus on meaningful storytelling. She specializes in crafting public relations campaigns, managing targeted media outreach, writing newsletters, and developing strategic event promotions that build genuine audience connections.
Mary’s experience includes navigating the fast-paced side of communications, from managing press and celebrity relations for special events to coordinating live social media activations on the ground.
Driven by a genuine passion for the nonprofit sector, Mary focuses much of her work at MVMPR on supporting purpose-driven organizations and cultural events. She enjoys helping nonprofits tell their stories, raise awareness for important causes, and better connect with their communities.
As a long-standing member of PRSA-LA for over 15 years, Mary helps keep the chapter's community informed. She works closely with the PRSA-LA board to assist with the chapter's social media accounts, helping to spread the word about regular networking events, professional development programs, and local industry initiatives.
