This week, Syndicus Nacon remained highly active across Maryland’s business and civic community.
We attended the State of Anne Arundel County presentation with County Executive Steuart Pittman, where exciting information was shared about the county’s long-term vision and 2040 strategic plan.
The Central Maryland Chamber also hosted its third candidate forum in the region, this time featuring Baltimore County candidates. These conversations highlight the importance of leadership that supports economic growth—let’s bring back business-friendly county executives.
We also participated in the Maryland Tech Council’s annual Barbecue on the Bay at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. It was great to connect with technology companies committed to advancing Maryland enterprises.

On Tuesday, May 26, CEO Michael McNees attended the Central Maryland Chamber’s Board of Directors meeting at Monumental Sports & Entertainment, hosted at Capital One Arena in Washington, DC 🏟️
After the meeting, we were given an exclusive tour of their off-season, phased upgrades — part of a $1 billion, four-year investment designed to bring world-class facilities to the Washington Capitals, Wizards, Mystics, and countless other events for years to come 👏
Then on Wednesday, May 27, CEO Michael McNees and Marketing Specialist Madelyn Hennemuth attended the Anne Arundel County Candidates Forum hosted by the CMC 🗳️
