Running a summer promo? Be careful with your colors.

Red and Green are the most common problem colors for colorblind users (approx. 8% of men).

If your "Book Now" button relies only on color to stand out, or your chart uses only red/green lines, you are hiding info.

Use text labels and high contrast to ensure your offer is visible to 100% of your audience.

This was one of the biggest milestones in the whole process: the visa was approved.

So much preparation led to this moment. I remember the mix of relief and excitement very clearly. From here, everything started moving much faster.

The days before the interview were intense. I went through everything again and again, not because I wanted to sound perfect, but because I wanted to be clear.

This was one of those moments where preparation becomes a form of courage.

Stop hiding your summer schedule or map inside a PDF download.

Tourists on roaming data don't want to download a 10MB file. Mobile users hate pinching and zooming to read hours.

Put the info directly on the webpage (HTML). It loads faster, ranks better on Google, and is accessible to everyone.

This folder represented weeks and months of preparation. Every page had to be right, because the next step depended on it.

Not the most glamorous photo, but definitely one of the most important ones.

This was one of the first times the move to the U.S. felt real. Talking about it publicly with Neustart USA turned a private plan into something I had truly committed to.

Looking back, this was the beginning of the story I am sharing now.

Scenario: A traveler finds your boutique hotel. They love the photos. They click "Book Now."
Then the third-party booking calendar pops up... and it's impossible to use on a phone. The dates are too small to tap. The contrast is too low in the summer sun.
They give up and book a Marriott because the app works.

Your booking engine is your cash register. If it sticks, you lose money.
