We are an indie film production company and creative content agency, with a slate of films and web content on our books. We are looking for a social media intern to come on board. If you are successful increasing our brand recognition online we would want to make the position permanent.

We support a culture of creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and community. We are looking for motivated people who are passionate about entertainment industry and social media. You will be responsible for all social media for Anna Barbara Films. You will also have real-world work experience with guidance from film industry professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You’ll work closely with us to help build awareness and reputation for the Anna Barbara Films brand through content development and planning
• Support management of our day-to-day social media operations to generate positive brand awareness and drive traffic to annabarbarafilms.com
• Analyze and optimize the performance of our existing channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook)
• Brainstorm, pitch, and write daily social media content and build monthly social media content calendar (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
• Conduct daily trendspotting through review of societal and cultural news and trending content
• Conduct social media research to help test new growth strategies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently have a strong social media presence and/or can show a strong ability to grow our social media
• Superior writing and editing skills – you can take complex, nuanced topics and develop creative, engaging, crisp and short social posts about it
• Obsessed with news and following pop culture, societal conversations, and emerging social media trends
• Good sense of humor with ability to infuse humor and wordplay into social posts
• Interest in or experience working with social media and analytics
• Technically savvy with Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook•Video creation and editing experience a BONUS
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
• Thrives in fun, fast paced environment and interested in gaining in-house, start-up experience
• Scrappy, resourceful and proactively uncover solutions to keep moving projects forward
