Outstanding Spanish 17th/18th century Cupboard or Trastero in excellent lightly restored condition. Although intended as a kitchen element, it integrates beautifully in multiple settings. This form is very uncommon in this state of conservation.

Last auction addict’s shopping spree of 2023—gorgeous Japanese negotiators lacquer table. Large chinoiserie papier-mâché tray on stand. A charming vargueno-style table cabinet. And a stunning Murano drinks table. Now it’s a bit of withdrawal til 2024.

My newest “favorite” chairs (my addiction continues)—pair Italian Rococo c. 1760-1780 in parcel hilt and finely carved. I love the loose backs attached with iron clips. 18thc furniture

I love chests and trunks and arcas and cassoni….MJH has many in inventory. This guy is the newest addition—British campaign chest c. 1820-1840, leather clad, original nail heads and hardware and in very good original condition. Guess what this is???? Yes, it’s now a long coffee table, but what else? Give up? It’s a 19th century English brass officer’s campaign bed—I just couldn’t pass it up. It join my other campaign pieces. table
