Brehm Preaching
Brehm Preaching—A Lloyd John Ogilvie Initiative fka the Ogilvie Institute of Preaching. Where Worship, Preaching, & Justice Converge
Our mission is to form empowered, wise preachers who do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God, leading others to join God's mission in the world.
The Micah Podcast recently gathered with pastors and ministers in Houston, TX for a powerful live conversation on justice and prophetic preaching — and we think it's a word for this moment.
Rev. Dr. Jaclyn Williams, Assistant Professor of the Practice of Preaching and Chaplaincy at Fuller Seminary, joined local leaders to talk about what it truly looks like to speak prophetically — not just from the pulpit, but through our presence in our communities.

Fear. Formation. Faithful resistance.
We recorded a live courageous conversation at Fuller Seminary's Houston, TX campus — and it's one you do not want to miss.
Local pastors and Fuller faculty joined the Micah Mobilizers for a raw, honest conversation about what it means to be the church right now. Against the backdrop of the Supreme Court's gutting of the Voting Rights Act and the rise of authoritarianism, we asked hard questions:
— How has fear shaped the Christian imagination?
— What happens when scarcity and control distort the gospel?
— What does it look like to re-center on the abundance, love, and way of Jesus?
— And ultimately, where is God at work, and what does hopeful resistance look like?
Featuring Houston pastors Joseph Yoo, Mia Wright, and Brandon Alred, plus Fuller faculty Jaclyn Williams, Collin Cornell, and Jennifer Ackerman.
