A nice Saturday with a whole bunch of kids visiting The Kiwanis Touch a truck event. Showing off some of our vehicles and handing the kids Prepare slap bracelets.

Thanks to Pastor Rivera and the congregation at Bethany Church for praying over us at their 1st Responders service. We exchanged books too.

A quiet start to the day greeting many Lake Parsippany neighbors and handing out preparedness literature.
Followed in the evening by a violent thunderstorm with significant damage to homes and cars etc. Supplemented the fine efforts of Police, Fire and Rescue units, working road closures. Special shout out to the great work of the Parks and Forestry crews clearing the roads!

Joined 150 fellow CERT members from around the state for Disasterville 2026.

So vital to those of us working on the Roadways. Annual Traffic Safety class for the team. Interrupted by a successful missing person’s search. You never know when you are needed.
