The Staff Accountant will provide accounting and administrative support in all phases for the Controller, and coordinate ad hoc projects as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing and posting monthly journal entries. Monthly balance sheet and subledger reconciliations. Completing assigned bank account reconciliations to GL. Assist with annual year-end audits. Work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams and assist with ad-hoc reporting and special projects. Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Ensure strong business controls and financial reporting. Prepare monthly invoicing for assigned contracts. Prepare daily cash position reports and support monthly cash flow forecasting. Support preparation of year-end financial requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in MS Office with excellent Excel skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
3-6 years of corporate finance experience or public accounting experience. Strong and Excel a must…QuickBooks a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required.

Responsibilities:

Prepares and reviews geological reports containing drilling logs and descriptions of geological formations and groundwater occurrence, quality, and gradient; and prepares hydrogeologic calculations, investigations, and studies.

Need someone to Project manage engineering projects for bridge repair and replacement during the design and construction phases. Will review structural designs for assigned projects, perform quality control on plans and specifications, work with NJDOT and FHWA guidelines, coordinate with consultant engineers, construction inspectors, and contractors, and should have knowledge of construction procedures. Should have the ability to review bridge and other structural plans, contract drawings, and shop drawings and plans submitted by consulting engineers and other agencies.
