Hello CCSMD No. 1 Residents,

THANK YOU to all who came out for last week’s savory and sweet food trucks and made it a big success. Next Wednesday, June 24th from 5-8 pm we’ll have Philly on the Go and Rebel Cookie Dough. Please come out and keep supporting these trucks so we can keep them coming every couple of weeks in the summer months… it takes a village and a lot of residents ordering!!

Youth Night for all 6th-8th graders is Friday, June 19th. If you haven’t signed up there’s still time so “git er done”! Cost is $7 per child and includes pizza, drinks, snacks and prizes… some prizes just for coming. It’s an outdoor pool party, goes from 6:30-8:30 pm and is supervised by me and lifeguard staff. Parents if you’re not picking up your child at 8:30 pm and allowing them to leave the center unsupervised, we ask you send a note with your signature and their names stating they are allowed to do so.

Hello CCSMD No. 1 Residents,

If the kids want to come to the outdoor pool party, (6th-8th Graders), we need a minimum of 15 signed up by Wednesday night at 9 pm to make it go!! All details are in the June newsletter, last week’s news blast or questions can be answered by the front office. If your kid/s are new to this, it’s always been a big hit with this age group and I’d feel bad if they don’t get the opportunity to experience it. Sign up by stopping by the front office or calling 303-840-1241. Each resident is allowed to bring up to 2 non-resident friends at the same price of $7. Weather is expected to be sunny with a high of 91 degrees!!

Hello CCSMD No. 1 Residents,

Always a lot going on in the summertime!

This Saturday is the Dolphin Swim Meet at our pool. The outdoor pool will open to residents at 2:00 pm. This gives you time to go enjoy Parker Days first and then come back to relax. Good luck Dolphins at your meet!!

First Youth Nite Outdoor Pool Party for all 6th-8th graders is next Friday, June 19th from 6:30-8:30 pm. Parents you get a couple hours “off duty” as this is supervised by Katie, me and the lifeguards. The cost is $7 per person and includes music, pizza, beverages, snacks, games and prizes! All residents are allowed to bring up to 2 nonresident friends for the same price.

YOU MUST RSVP BY WEDNESDAY; JUNE 17th and we require a minimum of 15 kiddos to make the party happen. Payment is by credit card only; call the front desk at 303-840-1241 or drop by to make your reservation. If your child/children are not being picked up at the center by a supervised individual at 8:30 pm, please have the kids bring a signed note from you stating it’s ok for them to leave unsupervised.

These are great parties for the youth, so we hope you’ll get the kids signed up to “make it a go”.

Remember, all youth 13-17yrs of age need a youth orientation to come to the center by themselves. Please email [email protected] to get it scheduled.

Don’t forget… it’s our first FOOD TRUCK WEDNESDAY, June 10th from 5-8 pm outside the pool gate on Nate’. We have R&B Tacos and Vibe Refreshments to satisfy the palate! Come enjoy the pool and/or take a night off from the kitchen. We need a good turn out to keep the trucks coming so please be supportive.

CHERRY CREEK SOUTH METROPOLITAN DISTRICT No. 1 E-NEWS

Hello CCSMD No. 1 Residents,

Hope all those that participated in the garage sale last weekend made some progress in giving up some “treasures”.

Next Wednesday, June 10th is our FIRST FOOD TRUCK WEDNESDAY!! This year, we will “try” 2 trucks… one savory and one sweet! Mark your calendars and come support R&B Tacos and/or Vibe Refreshments. Remember, I need YOU the RESIDENTS, to show up and support the trucks to keep them coming. There are minimums they require… if we can make these minimums, we can keep the trucks coming. Give yourself the night off from cooking, come to the pool and enjoy food trucks. Hope to see you next Wednesday between 5-8 pm at the trucks outside the pool gate on Nate Drive.

STROH RD / Trail Closure

Dates of Closure: 6/1-6/3

Next week, the Cherry Creek Trail on the south side of the new bridge construction will be closed down. Construction work is replacing that section of concrete on the trail.

Wow what a way to start the season with 600+ people (not a typo) attending the Memorial Day Pool Party……………. that’s a record for sure! It was a great day with lots of great music, good food and a lot of you wonderful people. Stay posted with CRC E-NEWS weekly as we’ll have updates on everything going on at Creekside and in the community.

Looking for some good deals? The Stroh Ranch Annual Garage Sale is this Friday and Saturday, May 29th and 30th from 8 - noon or later should you choose to stay open later. There’s no sign up or map and is advertised on social media sights. It may be helpful to put a sign in your yard. Thank you, Maggi Pritchard, with Home Smart for sponsoring this.

Children’s swim lessons start next week. Call or stop by the Recreation Center to schedule sessions and get all the details.

Pickleball for all levels of play, for ages 16 years and up, is played every Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm and Saturday mornings from 8-10 am (weather permitting). If you’re looking for fun people to play with, come play with your neighbors…. it’s a friendly group!

Hello CCSMD No. 1 Residents,

We are getting excited……all the fun of summer 2026 at Creekside is upon us!! Stay tuned to E- News as weekly events in the summertime are plentiful.

Let’s begin our summer with pool opening on Saturday, May 23rd at 9:00 am and then our first event of the summer is Memorial Day Pool Party which takes place ON Memorial Day, May 25th. DJ David will be playing great music from 11-3 pm and then residents (only) will receive one free lunch per person from 11:30-1:30 pm. Please note you must enter through the main entrance and sign in to receive your ticket for lunch. Check your expiration date on your sunscreen, make sure the swimsuit fits, lather up and wear your shades as it’s going to be a lovely day!! The pool will be open Memorial Day at 9:00 am and closes at 8:30 pm.

Children’s summer group swim lessons begin the week of June 1st. Sign up will begin on Saturday, May 23rd. More detailed information is in your May Newsletter. Be sure to sign up early as these fill up fast. We want everyone water safe this summer.
