Have you heard of or tried this pumping "hack?" If you're struggling with pumping, covering the collection containers can help take off the visual pressure of pumping. This may help you relax more fully and allow your milk to flow more easily.
[Image Description] Photo of a parent using a breast pump with baby socks covering the collection containers. Text reads, "using baby socks on your collection containers can help reduce stress and increase the amount of milk expressed."

Stop normalizing failure of the system
and calling it choice!!!
Moms arenāt choosing exhaustion, cracked ni***es, poor support, or returning to work 10 days postpartum with no pumping space. Theyāre doing what they have to, inside a system that makes breastfeeding nearly impossible, then calls it āa choice.ā
We donāt need more āfed is bestā marketing. We need better policies, postpartum care, lactation support, and workplaces that donāt punish mothers for feeding the way biology intended.
Say it how it is:
Breastfeeding isnāt failing, the system is!

If saying ābreast milk is betterā offends you, the problem isnāt the science, itās how society has conditioned mothers to feel shame for acknowledging it.
Breast milk is not just āfood.ā Itās a living, dynamic tissue packed with antibodies, hormones, stem cells, and protective properties that adapt to your babyās needs in real time. No lab has ever been able to replicate that. Thatās not an insult to formula-feeding moms, itās simply biology.
Weāve reached a point where facts about human milk are labeled ājudgmental,ā but billion-dollar formula companies can advertise their product as āclose to breast milkā and no one blinks. The truth is, mothers deserve to know why breastfeeding matters, not to feel guilty, but to be properly supported.
If facts feel like judgment, maybe itās because too many mothers were failed by a system that made breastfeeding nearly impossible⦠and then told to pretend it didnāt matter. Acknowledging that breast milk is better isnāt about shaming, itās about demanding better for moms and babies. š
